Nissanīs new super cars nickname is Godzilla and off course we kept that in mind when developing the new titanium Slip-On exhaust system for it. Usage of light, strong and durable materials for the Akrapovič aftermarket Slip-On exhaust system allows Godzilla to have a richer sound, and the performance is more sporty because of additional power. We even put our own signature on GT-Rīs design just look for aggressive titanium or carbon fiber tail pipes underneath the recognizable Nissan taillights.
With almost 1.8 tons, Nissanīs GT-R is one of the heaviest sports cars. So an appropriate diet is very important to increasing its performance. Just the Akrapovič Slip-On exhaust system, which is an entry level procedure in GT-Rīs tuning, makes an 8 kilogram difference, which is almost half that of the stock system. Our engineers improved the weight to power ratio by adding more power. With an Akrapovič Slip-On exhaust system, the GT-R has 8 HP more (at 6.260 rpm) and 12 Nm more (at 2.140 rpm), power was particularly improved at highest revs from 5.000 rpm on, where the stock system cannot compete with the capabilities of the Slip-On. The combination of lowering the weight and increasing the power makes the 4-wheel drive GT-R more agile and faster. The system is made off titanium and offers that unique Akrapovič sound, which is more aggressive but still civil enough for daily use.
Slip-On system, homologated:
* titanium rear link pipe * titanium end mufflers * 4 titanium or carbon fiber tail pipes
Hard facts:
* plus 8 HP (at 6.260 rpm) * plus 12 Nm (at 2.140 rpm) * minus 8 kg
